Nice old time atmosphere. Looks a lot better inside than it does outside. The roast beef au jus is outstanding and price is great..definately a must try on your Victoria list. Long wait for food at lunch hour but was worth it. Liked it so much even went back for dinner there on same day and had the CFS..also very good. Fun place.
Great old time restaurant. More like the diners of old. Quiet, peaceful, clean and affordable. Great place to have a meal and a few drinks. Popular with the grownups but not so much with the kiddos. Very friendly staff and great food. The chicken fried steak is wonderful!
Old restaurant, smells smoky inside. Very pricey fro what you actually get. Seems old and dirty, and the staff isn't very friendly. The Chicken Fried Steak is way too salty and the yellow gravy is nasty. Good place for old folks it seems? Smells like a Marlboro cigarette inside that place!
Nice cozy atmosphere. Great food. Fair prices on most items including bar items. Best CFS in town, bar none. Probably my favorite restaurant in Victoria. We have been eating here regularly for over 25 years. Family owned and good people.
