We went to Tejas for dinner one night. First time. The atmosphere was awesome. We had a very good waitress named starla. She made sure she took good care of all our needs. All the staff was friendly. I would go back in a heart beat. Good Job Tejas.

Tejas Cafe & Bar has great food in a fun environment. Many of the new menu items offer healthier options as well. The margeritas are only $2.50 and draft is only $1.50. My personal favorite's are the hickory chicken and the slow cooked honey ribs.

I recently visited Tejas Cafe & Bar with my family and I must say... not impressed! Despite the recent efforts to control their pest problem as discussed on the news by Shawna Curry, it has not been handled properly. We were visited at our table by an unexpected guest and when we asked for a refund, we were denied because they said we had eaten too much of our meal. The booth cracks were filled with crumbs and such and the floor was sticky. No wonder they can't control the roaches.

Did not like it at all. Been there twice. Should have learned from the first time. I thought I would give it another chance.
When I did, I had an uninvited guest under my plate that crawled out after starting my meal. I couldn't even finish the meal because I got physically sick. I've seen plenty of roaches in Texas, but I prefer not to eat with them. Besides sanitary reasons, the service was very poor and very slow.
